My name is Gustavo Barranco Escobar, 16 years old, I live in the center of Temoac with my parents and my brothers. I am the youngest. In my free time I like to go out to work on the motorcycle taxi, go out with my friends and have a good time. I like this school because we take one subject per month and that helps me understand better. I dream of being someone worthwhile in life and always helping my mother, since she has always supported me.
In these times of pandemic we have had many economic and health problems. My brother had an accident a few months ago where he almost lost a leg and we have had many expenses. I need to help my parents with expenses because sometimes my brother's medications and rehabilitation is expensive. Recently my father caught dengue and has not been able to work.
My mother worries about everyone and about my studies, and we cannot cover all the payments. Sometimes I want to get out of school because I see that we cannot afford it and the situation does not seem to improve.
I really appreciate that you support me in high school, it is the only to get ahead. I have committed with my teacher to continue schooling to achieve my goals. That is why I am asking for your support to continue. Thank you.
Mi nombre es Gustavo Barranco Escobar, tengo 16 años y vivo en el centro de Temoac.
Vivo con mis padres y mis hermanos, soy el menor. En mis tiempos libres me gusta salir a trabajar en la moto taxi para poder comprarme mis propias cosas, me gusta salir con mis amigos y pasarla bien, me gusta esta escuela porque cursamos una materia por mes y eso me ayuda a entender mejor. Sueño con ser alguien bueno en la vida y ayudar siempre a mi mamá, ya que ella siempre me ha apoyado.
En estos tiempos de pandemia hemos tenido muchos problemas económicos y de salud. Mi hermano tuvo un accidente hace unos meses donde casi pierde una pierna y hemos hecho muchos gastos me ha tocado ayudar a mis papás con algunos gastos porque a veces los medicamentos y rehabilitaciones de mi hermano son caras. Hace 3 semanas mi papá enfermo de dengue y no ha podido trabajar yo veo que mi mamá se preocupa por todos y por mis estudios, pero no podemos cubrir todos los pagos. A veces tengo ganas de salirme de la escuela porque veo que no alcanza y la situación empeora cada que pasa el tiempo.
Agradezco que ustedes nos apoyen en la preparatoria porque así es más fácil salir adelante, me he comprometido con mi maestra a seguir echándole ganas a la escuela para lograr lo que quiero. Por eso quiero pedir su apoyo para poder seguir.
