Aldrich has two younger brothers and lives with his parents. His father is an 'albiñil' and his mother is a stylist and has a beauty shop. His description of home life is very positive, there is good communication and he does not feel that he lacks anything. He enjoys school and can see himself graduate and join the National Guard to have a veterinary career. Ultimately to have his own family and build his own home.

Eder appreciates the flexibility of the UNAM platform and the close support he receives from his teachers. He finds it is easier to learn on this basis and looks forward to a graduation and studying and working to get a profession

Fernanda lives with her grandmother and her father. She has two younger siblings. The tranquility and the teachers at Don Bosco is what she mentions that she appreciates about the school. Her free time is taken up looking after the younger members of the family, but she loves music and given the chance she would study the violin and piano. After graduation she wants to study to be a nurse or medico. She feels that she lost a year of her life with the pandemia.

Juan Carlos Sánchez Cardoso is 16 and lives in Huazulco with his parents, a brother and sister. His father is a “campesino” and mother a housewife. He helps to sell typical sweets that they make. He enjoys his bicycle or riding on a motorbike in the fields, playing soccer and hunting iguanas with a catapult.

Mariana lives with three siblings and her mother with whom she has a close relationship. the mother works in a factory for automotive parts, and her father is a technician, but does not live with them. She likes the school uniform and the space of Don Bosco. She is positive about her future, she loves going to school and studying with the aim of studying Gastronomy and getting a good job.

Paola is 15 years old and very happy studying at Don Bosco Popotlán as my teacher is always there to help. When I graduate from here I want to continue studying to be a Primary School teacher as I have a great connection with children.

There are the 2 parents and 4 children in the house Ximena. Her older brother works in Bimbo and the rest are in school. Her mother works in the home and father is in the Police. The family relationships and communications are excellent. Ximena likes the conviviality of the Don Bosco school and her aim is to study nutrition at UNAM or UAEM and start her own consultancy. She likes to swim and draw.

Alexander is 15 and really enjoys Don Bosco as he experienced bullying in his prior schools. He is determined to complete High School and would like to study history or graphic design

Emilio and his mother live together, she is separated from his stepfather but they receive economic support. He has 3 older married brothers and his paternal father has another family in a different part of Mexico. He feels that he has an artistic gift and enjoys dancing, drawing, making figurines. He hopes that his schooling at Don Bosco will lead to graduation and the ability to study Physiotherapy. With a qualification he would like to move to Pachuca and work with his cousin.

Her goals are to become someone important in the future and to have enough means to help those who need it most, maybe to be a great lawyer, to support my mother so she, like me, can fulfill her dreams.

Maira is 15 years old, has a brother and two half brothers and is from Popotlan, Morelos. They all live with her grandparents. Before she was born her father left for the USA, started another family and her mother moved in with the grandparents, but later she found another partner and moved away leaving everyone with the grandparents. The grandfather works in the fields and the grandmother is dedicated to raising the family.
With that painful past she wants to have a career in teaching, to repay the grandparents that have provided so much and to show her parents what she can do without them. As a teacher she can help the children of the community.

Melissa is 15 and lives with her parents a 30-minute ride away from the school. She likes the way the teaching system works, loves to study and wants to become a teacher of young children.

Ricardo Valderrama Espinoza and I am 16 years old. Currently I am studying at Don Bosco, Popotlan but due to the pandemic, now the classes are at home with some days at the school but in truth has been quite difficult for me as I do not have a computer. I need to go to an internet shop that is in the neighboring town to be able to send my activities. Having a computer would make things much easier for me. The teachers pass us the content of the subject on USB and with the help of the computer I can read more carefully and not be under pressure of my time running out in the internet shop. I would also save the costs of a two way journey and access expense. Anything I can do to help save costs, I want to do as we are definitely a low income family.

My name is Yahir Caporal Dávila and I am 16 years old and I study at Don Bosco High School.
I have 3 brothers, Alberto, 22 who helps my father in the fields; Erik, 12 is in secondary school and Javier, 7 who is in second grade.
My mother is a housewife and sometimes works making typical Mexican candy.
Studying is a step to achieving my goal to have a good career. I would like to be a doctor or join the National Guard to help people. I want to thank everyone for all the support that you provide to this institution and that without your help students like me would not have been able to continue with our studies. I feel fortunate to have this opportunity and will make the most of it. So many students do not have the ability to continue studying.

Cesar Gaspar Campos, 17, lives with his parents and brothers. He appreciates the form of tuition that is so personalized and helpful. After graduation he wants to continue studying computer science as that is his favorite subject. He thinks that will be the way to get ahead as life is difficult without an education.

Erik's mother works in Liverpool and he lives with her and 3 brothers. They would like to have a computer in the household as he enjoys the access at Don Bosco. His best subject is Spanish and his goal is to have his own business in Insurance. He knows he needs to graduate well to have a chance to start this path by working for an Insurance company.

Itzel Ariadna is studying the first year at Don Bosco Prepa school in Popotlán. She lives with her 6 year old sister and parents. Her father is a chef in a restaurant and mother a housewife.
Her main objectives is to get good grades and to learn all she can about the subjects she will study and will make every effort to be a success.

Maria is sure that it is important to finish High School in order to get a decent job, she loves helping her brothers with their studies and helping in the house. She wants a career helping others. In her spare time she likes reading and music
